Department of Music

The Department of music was established in 1973 with vocal and Instrumental Music (Sitar) as the main subjects. The Department stared Tabla& Kathak (Dance) in B.P.A./M.P.A. Since 2016. Various Course in Music department Vocal, Sitar, Kathak (Dance) and Tabla are running as professional Courses Separately. Many Nationally & Internationally both acclaimed performing Artists have been part of this department and working at present.
The department regularly organizes the Conferences, Seminars, work-shops, Concerts and interactive sessions with eminent experts. Sometimes Lecture demonstrations are also performed by noble Laureates in the department for students' overall development.
The department also assess student' activity such as "Sangeet Sabha" every fortnight by the students for the students to develop their organizing skills and to motivate them to to conduct event programmes.
