Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology was established in the Year 1971. The Department has been updating curriculum that allows students to pursue the extensive breadth of psychology in terms of behavioral phenomena studied, the variety of methods and theoretical approaches employed. The curriculum also provides excellent opportunities for research experience in the form of practicum and by participation in a wide variety of research projects. Throughout the curriculum, the Department emphasizes empirical basis of interventions and assessment methods for an all-round development of the students.The Department provides an internship program to bridge academic learning of theory with community application of knowledge.
