Department of Public Administration

Public Administration as a discipline began its journey in association with Economics at the University of Rajasthan in the year 1957 as Department of Economics and Public Administration. In 1965, an independent Department of Public Administration was established by carving out from the economics discipline in the school of social sciences. Since its inception, the Department in the University of Rajasthan has significant faculty strength, good infrastructure facilities and rich in academic potential, The Department was sanctioned Special Assistance Programme (SAP) by University Grants Commission in 2008.
